Non Radiographic Axial Spondylarthritis

Non-radiographic axial spondyloarthritis is a chronic inflammatory disease that primarily affects the spine and sacroiliac joints, causing persistent back pain and stiffness, particularly in younger adults. It is part of the axial spondyloarthritis spectrum but does not show definitive structural damage on standard X-rays, although inflammation may be visible on MRI. Symptoms typically include inflammatory back pain that improves with exercise and worsens with rest, morning stiffness, fatigue, and sometimes inflammation in other areas such as the eyes and joints.
